Round 1- Orchard in Flames: The Germans are in general withdraw to the Dniepr. Everything is in short supply. A rear guard battlegroup discovers a nearby collective farm full of fresh fruits. The farm would provide the tired and hungry battlegroup a nice rest stop along the hot and dusty Ukranian roads. But the Soviets are pushing hard, and for the moment the two forces have lost contact. A tired Soviet commander looks to his map and discovers a small collective farm to the southwest. He ponders, "Can't the war can wait for a few hours."
