Russian Delaying Action at Kremlug-Pr - The Matrix Games version of East Front II

The German Panzers have stopped their advance upon Moscow and have wheeled south to encircle the Russian forces around Kiev. Desperate to plug any holes and build a front east of Starodub, the Russian 59th Motor Rifle Regiment is thrown in to slow or possibly halt the advance of 8th Panzer Division. The area chosen is a bottleneck between the dense Bilyeki and Lubovnev forests at the small towns of Kremlug and Primov which is desected by four small rivers, which should aid the defenders. Unfortunately, 8th Panzer Division's Kampfgruppe Misch has advanced faster than expected and the defenders find themselves in a mad scramble to establish a coherent defense before the panzers strike...
