Molodovka, 20km NE of Uman: [Best played against Human opponent] By the end of July General Kleist's Panzer Group, the mailed fist of AG South, had broken through the Stalin Line and was reaching out toward Kiev. On August 1st the panzers reached Novo Arkhangelsk and immediately wheeled back to the west, closing the ring around the Russian forces in the Uman area. It was not a huge pocket but nevertheless three Soviet armies were in the bag! The German infantry tried hard to seal the gaps but it was a case of to few troops trying too cover a very long perimeter. On August 6th the trapped 842nd Motor Rifle Regiment attempted to breakout of the pocket near Molodovka, northeast of Uman. The only Axis units that could respond and plug the gap were elements of the Hungarian 2nd Motorized and 1st Cavalry Brigades. The Hungarians performed brilliantly and saved the day, holding the ridges northwest of Molodovka and giving their German Allies a chance to seal the Uman Pocket and crush the remaining Russian resistance.

A interesting scenario that pits Hungarian light Armour agaist Russian light Armour. The Soviets are fighting against the clock to reach the exits hexes and protect the convoy of trucks.
The Hungarians must scramble to build a proper defense.
With decent Artillery for both sides a good fight should occur.
Reddog
A tough battle for the Allies having to cross open ground and fight uphill against numerous defenders.
Good Hunting,

Very competitive, good thing about this scenario is that neither side has a true equipment advantage. This means that victory will be decided by planning and tactics. Allied player has a number of different courses of action that may lead to victory.

Allies had more tanks and a couple large KV-1's that were hard to knock out, but seemed to lack manpower. I would say it's Pro-Axis some for sure.

Early war Soviet armor no match for even the Hungarian armor.
