Lipki, E of Borisov, 130km W of Orsha: [Best played against Human opponent] There were a few surprised faces at the headquarters of the German 18th Panzer Division at Borisov on July 3rd, when a signal was received that strong enemy armored columns were advancing along the motor highway from Orsha. Soon the panzers of the 18th Panzer Regiment clashed with Russian tanks of the 1st Moscow Motorized Division reinforced with T-34s and KVs from the Borisov Tank School. When it first hove into sight the T-34 struck a good deal of terror among the German tankers in their lighter panzers. Even the heaviest German tanks, the Mark IV "Stubs," named for their short-barrel 7.5cm cannon, were some three tons lighter than the T-34 and had a considerably inferior anti-tank capability. But more shocking still were the bigger monsters mixed in amongst the T-26 and BT tanks: the KV-2 weighing 52 tons and armed with a 152mm gun. Superior German tactics and experience won the day but the "T-34 terror" would become well known on the Eastern Front in the years to come.
Sun Tzu
Russians have infantry and plenty of armor but very few leaders and lower morale.
Superior armoured Russian tanks against a swarm of faster and better armed German armour...with plenty of leaders for both sides....
You can sum up, the BT-7 is simular to the cruiser (vessel).
The cruiser can outgun every ship they could not outrun and to outrun every ship they could not outgun.
The BT-7 can outgun every tank/AFV it could not outrun and to outrun every tank/AFV it could not outgun.
I just started "Borodino41" where I have several companies of the BT-7.
