Best played against human opponent or as a team scenario with three players per side for best results. This is version 1.02 of this scenario;make sure all players have this version before starting. In a desperate attempt to break the 7th Guards Army defenses and link up with the II SS Panzer Corps at Prohkorovkha Gen Breith has ordered the 503rd heavy panzer battalion to spearhead the charge of the III Panzer Corps. The initial assault has been fairly successfull and with the capture of Verkhnii-Olshanets the III Panzer Corps is ready to resume the march and is threatening to completely unhinge the Russian defenses in the North Donets river area. The 35th Guards Rifle Corps is scrambling to build new defenses and plug the gap in the lines. Marshall Vatutin has recognized the danger of a German breakthrough in the Rzhavets area and has ordered all available reserves sent to the area. Gen Rotmistrov has sent the 11th and 12th Mechanised Brigades with strong anti-tank support from the V Guards Tank Army to aid the 35th Corps defenses. The III Panzer Corps must not be allowed to link up with the II SS Corps as this will surely tip the battle in favor of the Germans and possibly lead to a collapse of the entire southern front of the Kursk salient. Fortunately the 7th Guards Army has engaged some units of the III Corps on the flanks and delayed the advance but, the III Corps is still coming for the "Bridgehead at Rzhavets"

Well balanced, unless the Axis attacks aggressively, in which case the Allies will have few options.
