When the German offensive against Moscow came to a halt on 6 December 1941, the Ist Panzer battalion was located at a point fifteen miles north of the Russian capital. They were immediately ordered back to Klin, with the mission of keeping the town open for the withdrawal of other German forces. Fresh deep snow obstructed every movement. Pretty soon these forces found themeselves cut-off from the rest of the German forces around Nekrasino... This scenario focuses on the area around Nekrasino; the Russian forces would like to push through the heavily fortified position and anihilate the only possible destination point for the rest of the German forces in Klin. The German forces must maintain control of Nekrasino, and if possible open up the road around the Pavlov estate to prepare the area for the tired and weary German forces anticipated to be arriving from Klin...
