The Last Battle of the Fire Brigade - The Matrix Games version of East Front II

Ressen, 40 Kms SE Berlin.(H2H). Historical scenario. The last Russian effort to seize Berlin is in progress. Units of 1st Byelorussian Front are moving into the southern area of Berlin. Some German units have been detected in the zone trying to break the Russian lines from the south.The Fürher Begleit Brigade (assigned as a Gross Deutschland Div. replacement unit) is the last German fighting unit capable to attack them.The Panzergrenadiers supported by a handful of assault guns and a battered Panzer regiment started a limited attack on Neu-Petershein. There, the Russian 108th Rifle Division and the 23rd Tank Brigade has order to engage and destroy the Germans.
