The Swarm - The Matrix Games version of East Front II

(H2H scenario designed for Tourney Play) 14 July, 1941... The plain around a string of villages NE of Kazatin is littered with smoking and burning wrecks of Soviet tanks -- the II Btn, 127th Mot Rifle Regt of 12th Panzer Division has just beaten off a heavy attack and is forming up to resume the advance.The supporting panzers have just left the scene, and are a few kilometers down the road. Suddenly the cry of "Alarm" goes out as from the forest to the north of the main road, which had been declared cleared of enemy troops, hordes of Soviet Infantry and swarms of BT-7 tanks charge at the strung-out battalion... The Red tankers of the 43rd Tank Regt attack with the elan of its cavalry tradition and from the panicked German troops the call for Stukas and Panzers goes out as they brace themselves for the impact...
