Swiecice, 18km W of Warsaw: [Best played against Human opponent or as Axis] As the German screws continued to tighten around Warsaw, Polish formations west and northwest of the city attempted to break through in order to become part of the defense of the capital. The town of Swiecice was strategically situated astride the main road leading into Warsaw from Blonie, 25km to the west. Around this village Hitler's bodyguard regiment, the "Leibstandarte Adolf Hitler", was deployed. In the early hours of September 12th an operational group under General Boltuc, consisting of elements from the Polish 8th and 16th infantry divisions, supported by several platoons of armor, departed their laagers in the vicinity of Blonie, bound for Warsaw. In the morning fog bitter contact was made with portions of the I and II battalions of the Leibstandarte, keeping watch over the western gateway into the Polish capital.

The axis have every advantage, then they get reinforced.
Resolve then, that on this very ground, with small flags waving and tinny blasts on tiny trumpets, we shall meet the enemy, and not only may he be ours, he may be us. --Walt Kelly
Frustrating to be the Poles, who are just outclassed by the German equipment. Not only that, my lancers never showed.
