Tiergarten, Central Berlin. In the smoking ruins of a once grand Capital, the final drama was played out in the European Theater. As the Russian hordes fell upon the city with a vengeance, each was determined to capture the symbols of the fascist aggressors: the Reichstag, the Brandenburg Gate, the Victory Tower, the Reich Chancellery. But the greatest prize to be had was the Fuhrer himself, Adolf Hitler, who was hunkered down in the Bunker 50 ft. below the Chancellery garden.
