[This scenario is intended to be played with the Blitzkrieg EFII expansion pack installed] Location : 12 km south of Seelow. Three days ago the final assault on Berlin has started! But despite the overwhelming superiority in men and tanks, the Soviets haven't achieved the breakthrough they had hoped for! Especially the area of Seelow, which was defended by elements of 9 Fallschirmjger division, has been stopping any and all attempts to break through! Stalin has become impatient and ordered to step up the offensive. Further south, near the small town of Marxdorf, a second assault is launched which is aimed at capturing the Berlin-Seelow highway and cutting off its stubborn defenders. The Soviets are not taking any chances and have directed two guards infantry regiments and a tank brigade to that area. An extra punch is supplied by the heavy artillery of 9 artillery division and elements of 30 heavy tank brigade. In front of them, behind well fortified lines, a single Volkssturm battalion is awaiting them. But they are not alone! The newly formed panzer division 'Muncheberg' is sent in to stiffen the lines. But it is just a division in name! So as the tired old men grip their rifles harder and the young panzergrenadiere anxiously await what is to come, the Soviets rise from their assembly areas and let out a very distinctive shout : ZA RODANU ! (for the motherland)

Very nice scenario, but the balance is pro allies.
Played with EA Off.
very close battle which was decided at the very last turn. Despite the statistics I still believe that the Allies have a very tough nut to crack
Great scenario. Tense to the end!
My allies had a draw, but I weakly defended an objective hex, trying stupidly to keep units out of sight for my opponent's last turn. Good scenario, both sides have opportunities. The victory scoring is tight, making it easy to swing from a win to a loss. Fun scenario.
Resolve then, that on this very ground, with small flags waving and tinny blasts on tiny trumpets, we shall meet the enemy, and not only may he be ours, he may be us. --Walt Kelly
