Iwo Jima Island (Best played by either side.): D+1. Having established a beachead on D-Day and managing to reach the west beach on the other side of the island, the Marines have split the Japanese defense in two. The 28th Marine Regiment, haiving isolated Mount Suribachi sector, starts the process of reducing the Japanese defense force there. The rest of the Marines start the grim task of taking Airfield #1 and thus establishing enough conquered ground so the rest of the 4th and 5th Marines can land.
