Iwo Jima Island (Best played by either side.): D+7. Marine gains from the day before were minimal to non-existant, the only bright spot was the capture of most of Airfield #2. Japanese resistance was very heavy as the Marines were starting to work they way into the Japanese main line of resistance. The carnage on both sides seems to have no end in sight.
