Best Played as Allies - This scenario is the 2nd part of my envisionment of the invasion of Honshu to end WWII. The Kanto Plain Region is the central agricultural region of the main Japanese Island of Honshu. The Kanto Plain is the tactical throat of the Japanese capital, and whoever controls it controls the entire main axis for the assault into Tokyo. The III Amphibious Corps has been tasked with clearing the Kanto Plain of Japanese troops to clear the way for the assault into Tokyo. The III Amphibious Corps is composed of three veteran Marine Corps Divisions. (Optionally the scenario can be reinforced by the 20th Armored Division from the X Corps, which has been included with the scenario). These troops face the veteran 52nd Japanese Army. The Corps orders are simple...secure crossings over the Tonugowa River, seize the high ground around the river, seize the major cities in the area, and significantly reduce the fighting power of the Japanese forces in the Kanto Plain.
