Nov 9th, 1942. This scenario is based on the "Intro-One" scenario from the Panzer Grenadier board game Kokoda Campaign by Mike Bennighof, Ph.D. In this meeting engagement units from the Australian 2/25th Battalion, 25th Brigade engage elements from the Japanese 1st Battalion, 144th Regiment, South Seas Detachment. Objective for both sides is the crossroads. In the real battle, Australian forces were not able to reach the main track before darkness fell. They remained confident that they could position to cut off the Japenese position at Oivi during the following day.
