Usua, 30km N.W. of Koepang, Timor: [Best played H2H] The Japanese landing at the mouth of the Paha river (Feb. 20th) was a serious threat to the Allied forces in the Koepang area. The CO of Australian 'Sparrow Force', Lt.Col. Legatt, has been instructed to withdraw to the supply base in Su, when he could not longer hold Penfui airfield. Meanwhile, Japanese paras of the 3rd Yokosuka SNLF have been dropped in the area between Babau and Champalong, blocking the only road which leads to the center of the island. On February 21st, D company cleared the village of Babau and the next day, Legatt decided to break through to Su. About a mile along the road from Babau, the leading Australian units encountered a roadblock at the bridge over the Amaabi River, while a Japanese force coming up from Koepang made contact with the rearguard of the Allied column. 'Sparrow Force' was in danger of getting trapped on Timor. (Please read the notes.doc for more info) Ver. 1.1

I played this vs. Fscout and it was lots of fun. You have to use every unit you have just to survive. Very devious map.
Thus, what is of supreme importance in war is to attack the enemy's strategy.

Fscout tried to attain victory best he could - but the sheer # of losses he sustained made it impossible in the end. A real nail-biter of a scenario.

This is one of my favorite scenarios. You can feel the time pressure and the desperation for both sides. A real horse race.

It was a fight to the very end.

Big Dawg
His tactics made a normally well balanced game completely 1 sided. I was completely dominated. It still stings!
