Historical scn, (Human to Human opp).Damblainville (Normandy, France). 15 kms NE of Falaise. The German situation in Normandy is critical.D-Day+60, allies was broken the German defensive possitions and smashed the bulk of German reserves with two main ofensives :Cobra and Goodwood operations. In the middle of August Patton and Hodges was pressing to Germans from west and south of Argentan. In the north of the pocket, the green 1st Polish armored Division tried to push to Falaise and close the pocket. The green Polish Division had their first serious and bloody encounter with some of the most veteran German units in the area. Two Kampfgruppes (Von Luck and Wünsche´s 12th SS HJ Tigers) attempted to hold open a narrow corridor to allow the German withdraw to east. This scn recreate this battle for Damblainville area over the Dives river. Polish Lancers and Dragoons ,Tigers and panzergrenadiers fought until the last man. A hard lesson for green Polish... A fun scenario with many options for both sides....although I must say the Polish must make there attack precise and in-force to succede.....and be careful about losing to many loaded trucks.......while the Germans are armed to the teeth...they are spread very thin........

the axis force is very powerful, but that is off-set by it having so many objectives to defend and the allied victory total being so low
Does not make for a great team game. But, it does offer some interesting command and control situations for anyone who wants to try it as the Germans in a teamer.
