Hello Gentlemen:

This requires a revision.
When testing I hap two lopsided games that gave me a false impression.
The Germans are too strong in this one and I will have a revision available soon.

My apologies.

Dan CavinessHello Gentlemen:

This scenario will be getting a new revision.
It is playable as it is but I suggest the following:

1. No use of ON MAP aircraft. They just don't work, and are too easy to misuse.
2. Your best player/side should take the Allies. The Germans are pretty tough. Not impossible, but it's tough.

I will remove the ON MAP aircraft, reduce some German reinforcements, and adjust victory conditions with the next revision.

Regards,

Dan

ps: I was a little upset when I posted the above comment. My apologies.

Hello To Everyone:

All changes have been made to balance the scenario. The new files are uploaded here.

I cut back both sides, but the Germans got cut back the most. There are also a lot of terrain changes, more woods, more cover, etc. All ON MAP aircraft are DELETED. Artillery got cut back for both sides. Should be a good one to try if you like you chances leading Allied armor into the West Wall or feel like the German who can put a stop to it.

Thanks to everyone for their help and patience with me in getting this right.

Regards,

Dan

Dan,

I am a bit biased as far as his scenario is concerned. It is by far my favorite West Front scenario and thank you for designing it.

Chris.

Bit to easy for the Axis in my opinion - just my thoughts maybe the victory levels could be changed to even it up a bit.

As the Germans will be blowing up lots of bridges, the Allied player should use their bridge-building units wisely. Also, the Germans aren't able to launch serious counter-attacks until later in the game.

Hello Mr. Chris/GreyWulf:

Thanks very much for your kind words.
I don't check these scenario listing often enough, my pardons for missing this for...oh...roughly 6 years is it?...;)
Holy schnikes...I REALLY really need to check these from time to time...

It's the occasional "at a boy" that keeps us old farts in the basement...designing away...

At the risk of sounding like a complete nimrod or total hanyacher, thank you.

Regards,

Dan
