Version 2 (Axis Fixed Positions)-Patrols G and T of the Long Range Desert Group have been given the task of a raid on the fort and storage complex of Murzuk in the Fezzan District of Southern Lybia. The patrols have good mobility so make use of it with hit and run tatics, the objectives are not essential to make a sucess of the raid as the area as many unattended Italian trucks which should make easy targets. The plan is for patrol T to strike at the airfield with patrol G keeping the fort forces busy from reinforcing the airfield troops. The scenario has been made as realistic as possible on the information available, a minor victory is acheivable, making use of ground cover, striking at the closest possible distance and unloading your troops in good time to make the best use of your limited fire power, not to early though so that the troops can cover greater distance to the targets. I have left additional forces in the org file if you wish to expand the scenario.
