Close the Canal! - The Matrix Games version of West Front

The world is a different one than history has portrayed - Hitler now rules half the world. Russia, France, England - all gone. Only the United States stands between Hitler and total world domination. Plans are already underway for the invasion of the United States near this nation's capitol - Washington D.C. But before that can take place, Hitler must assure that no naval or land reinforcements can transit the Panama Canal from the Pacific war theatre and interfere with the invasion. He has dispatched an elite regiment from the Wehrmacht Parachute forces to take out the Canal. Fortunately for the Americans, an elite Parachute regiment of the American 82nd Airborne Division was present in the Canal Zone on emergency air-drop manuevers. The battle would later become known as the Battle of the Elites....
