Allied invasion of a desert dictatorship!! Imagine the coalition against someone like Sadam Hussein in the mid-1940's (just after WWII), and this is what you'd have. The Coalition (Allies: both Americans and Brits)) have total air superiority, as well as off-shore naval bombardment. For the desert dictatorship, I've used (Italian) units to represent conscripted, poor-moral troops, and (German) units to represent elite regulars. The coalition begins with ground forces based behind a DMZ, as well as some rather large airborne drops deep behind enemy lines. The coalition player can bypass entire cities, in the hopes of securing the necessary victory points by taking the CAPITAL CITY alone, or he can attempt to battle his way through each town individually, amassing VPs as he goes along.
