Death from the Skies - The Matrix Games version of West Front

(Hypothetical Scenario designed for H2H KO Tourney play) Holland, May 1940.The German offensive in the West has begun! The morning is shattered by Luftwaffe Stukas bombing the Apeldoorn Aerodrome and minutes later German paratroopers descend to overrun the airfield defense units. Their mission to capture the airfield and the bridges over the Ijssel Canal in the little town of Apeldoorn to enable the Panzer spearheads to get across. As luck would have it, that morning a battalion of Dutch infantry and an armoured car squadron are passing through Apeldoorn heading for the front and these forces are immediately drawn into a vicious fight for the river crossings. Can the Dutch troops hold the airfield, the bridges and the town long enough to slow the Blitzkrieg?
