Gabr Saleh, 40 km WSW of Sollum, Libya: [Best played against Human opponent] The day before, 21st Panzer had engaged fast British tanks north of Gabr Saleh. Cruewell worried that the British were in strength to the east of Tobruk, and 15th Panzer was ordered to locate and engage the British armor in that area. As the sun set, the 8th Panzer regiment ran into tanks of the 4th Armoured Brigade moving north from Gabr Saleh in what, at first, appeared to be a repeat of the previous day's action. The only difference was that today, help was coming for the British in the form of the 22nd Armoured Brigade, redirected from its abortive attack on the Italian Ariete division at Bir el Gubi.

From Allied POV the mobility of the Stuarts proves its worth in this scn

Game uncompleted major victiory claimed, Mr G failed to respond after 6 weeks without replying to email or ping on the Blitz forum.
Another classic and balanced scenario, ruined by extreme assault.
“The past was erased, the erasure was forgotten, the lie became the truth.”― George Orwell (1984)
Axis needs to take objectives and be close to or at the exit hexes before the allies are reinforced or they're toast. Allies can slow the axis by utilizing the speed of the stuarts to penetrate and harass the enemy rear.
Resolve then, that on this very ground, with small flags waving and tinny blasts on tiny trumpets, we shall meet the enemy, and not only may he be ours, he may be us. --Walt Kelly
Crusaders need to fight toe-to-toe with the panzerwaffe.
Use the mobility of the Stuarts
A challenge for both sides.
Tank vs tank in open desert; The Germans have the range and the British have the numbers. Both sides have infantry as buffers. The tension increases during play thanks to the lack of hiding places and clear skies.
Love this scenario!
Finely balanced desert clash of tanks.
Against equal players the Allies 75+ tank platoons will always prevail against the German 20+ tank platoons. Also German infantry in trucks in the wide open desert are useless in an armored battle. Did not care for this scenario at all regardless if EA is on or not. I don't recommend it!!
Interesting matchup of tanks - Germans are the better but in this one - the Brits are of a good match with their greater numbers.
One of the few Western Desert scenarios that are suitable for PBEM. Fun scenario, but the British have a larger margin for error here, which means it plays moderately in favor of the Allies. Axis player must read the scenario description thoroughly and make decisions based on this "intelligence".
I could have used a few Shermans.
