Gavrus/ Tourville Counterattack - The Matrix Games version of West Front

On the 27th of June the British managed to capture the bridges over the Oden River southwest of Caen near Gavrus intact. The capture of these bridges would enable the British to continue their advance. On the 28th the Germans decided to drive the British back across the Oden. The 5th Co. of the 2nd SS Panzer Battalion was detailed to support the 12th SS Panzergrenadier Regiment in this attack. The British held the bridgehead but were so badly mauled that they withdrew over the night of the 28th. Your task as the British Commander is to hold with your 2nd Fife and ForFar Yeomanry. As the German Commander your task is to drive the British back over the Oden and if you can demolish the Bridges.
