Hunter's Gap - The Matrix Games version of West Front

By now everything was going wrong for the Germans! Operation Frühlingerwind was forced to give up their gains, supplies were running out and replacement troops and tanks were virtually non-existent. But despite all this, the attack was resumed. Sidi Nsir was captured and the forward Britsh batallion defending it nearly annihilated. But the main objective : Hunter's Gap was well defended! Strong infantry positons in mutual support would make any direct attack suicidal, but since the mud was clogging up the tanks' roadwheels, there was no other choice!
