near Kriva Palanka, Yugoslavia: German General Von Kleist's XI Corps and 14th Pz Corps (1st Panzergruupe) cross the Bulagarian border west into Yugoslavia. The Yugoslavian 5th Independent Army is deployed "in echelon", not really suspecting the German invasion. The Germans "rapidly" advance toward Nis on their way north toward Belgrade. This scenario represents a portion of the German advance toward the town of Kriva Palanka (east northeast of Nis) where the Yugoslavian Vlasinski Brigade tries to offer some sort of resistance against the rapidly moving panzers.
