Last Bridge Into Holland - The Matrix Games version of West Front

The German move through the province of Noord-Brabant was quick and by the 13th they had almost reached the Moerdijkbridgehead, where the paras still held the bridges to enter Fortress Holland. At Geertruidenberg Sepp Dietrich's SS Regiment "Adolf Hitler" was taking a rest when it was rudely surprised by a reconnaissance party of hussars, that were trying to establish contact with the French forces near Breda. They were coming from the last bridge still in Dutch hands, which was unknown to the Germans. A small battle developed in which the Germans pressed the small force ever more, but they had orders to go west, so didn't conquer the bridge in the end. It was blown by the Dutch instead.
