(Hypothetical battle) After the failure of the Allies to consolidate after the D-Day landings, and the Russians at a stalemate against the Germans, there followed an amazing turn round of events. - The Germans and Russians made a treaty and joined forces whilst the Allies formed the Allied Alliance with the liberated European countries. A 60 square mile tract of land had become a 'No Man's Land, buffer-zone' in the cold war that had followed. Eventually, in early 1945, a German Frigate headed into Lake Aarsace and the Soviet/Germanic Alliance moved out to capture territories. The Allied Alliance had a Frigate set sail along the St.Antoine Canal, headed for Lake Santonne. The Cold War had heated up!
This scenario needs a major overhall. Axis forces nedd transport vehicles. And More quality armor. Air superiority for the allies needs some change. No anti aircraft of the axis can effect allied bomber's. The allied aircraft can attack axis troops all game long. This is heavily in favor of the allies.
What me and other players have done is eliminate all on-board aircraft for both sides. And eliminate allied armor. One game 30 allied armor units . The game lasted till 50 turns. An improvement from a previous game where no armor was removed. That game lasted 30 turns.
Presently playing a game with 50 allied armor removed, this should help balance the battle a little more
