Hello Gentlemen:
UPDATED 2018
This is the entire Operation Cobra, the Yank breakout from Normandy. If you want your chance to be Patton and ride wild over Western France this is your scenario.
You'll earn it, the Panzer Lehr and 2nd SS are ready for action. St Lo is St Lo and taking it will be a key to this meatgrinder.
Enjoy,
Dan

As a result of our testing it's now a superior product.
The left side (south/west) German player is still behind the 8 ball.

Daniel D.
I think victory conditions need tweaking to give Axis a fighting chance to this otherwise very interesting battle setup.

Cobra was NOT a fair fight.
The German HAS to give ground.
Historically even more so than the version I created here.
The map is gynormous (ginourmis?) so some may miss the overall pattern.
Those allied bridge strikes that are labeled in the scenario...taken as a group function as "do not pass" line for the Germans.
The Allieds blew those bridges to prevent the Germans reinforcements from flanking the breakout.
The breakout was so rapid, two days later they were sorry they did, and they ended up putting in pontoons and such to cross.
Regards,
Dan
