River Our Delaying Action - The Matrix Games version of West Front

[Play as German ]. At dawn in December 16, 1944, the greatest American battle of WWII began. In an attempt to forestall the invicible, German forces launched a major counterattack against US forces in the Ardennes. The task of forcing a crossing of the River Our fell to the 5th Panzer Army. Facing them was the 28th Divison a former Pennsylvania National Guard units which had already earned good marks at Normandy. With only three regiments to hold a 25 mile wide front, they menaged to stave of the LVIII Panzer Corps for a vita 24 hours.
