HYPOTHETICAL
Rommel Takes The Suez Canal 1944
This is a simulation of desert combat, but set later in the war when the armor capabilities were vastly superior to what was available historically. This is pure hypothetical designed for balance and enjoyment.
The Axis powers, very much intact, have conquered Russian in 1941 during Barbarossa. The weather threatened to end it in disaster but they managed to take Moscow before the bitter winter took hold.
This leaves the English and the Americans against the Axis powers. Rommel left Africa early in this hypothetical, returning to convince the OKW that they could swing down from Greece and take the Suez Canal. This will allow them to control the Med, and allow Japanese and German subs to transit freely between the two nations.
All that aside, you will be up against the late war armor and infantry, no matter which side you choose. Desert combat is a unique environment, the "world" is at minus one morale, and those who get shot up and disrupted may find it challenging to get back in the fight.
No history to be learned with this one, unless you count my "alternate" history above. Good luck, good shooting, and I hope you enjoy it.

NOTE: Forgot to put all the ***BV.BIS/WTF stuff in here guys. It's a team game, if you desire. I recommend all options ON except VV and EA. I am not saying it may not play just as well with those ON, but I have not tried it.
Have fun!

Nevertheless, it's a great, fun, large scenario. Ideal as a team game. All the usual toys, even new ones I've never seen or played. Give it a try!
We have completed testing and all adjustments are complete.
Simply stated, if you can find another 2v2 teamgame as fun as this one to play, I will eat it.
Check it out...lots of devilish real estate between the Aswan Dam and the Suez Canal...

Thanks so much Mr. Scud!
It's a sandbox of high speed fun.
Seriously though...being entirely hypothetical...it's a player's game.
You guys know you're out there...I see you...and the forces you get to assemble...it's kind of like riding in Patton or Rommel's tank...
You lose it here, you know who to blame, and the desert awaits all.
Regards and thanks again David,
Old Man Dan
Dear John:
(I just love typing that)
Perhaps I should add some Hobart Funnies for you?
A few flail tanks?
Lol...the Brits actually sport some FINE armor in this one gentlemen.
Setting the scenario late enough, the Brits get a quantity of late war Comet Cruisers (my vote for best British tank of the war), Achilles, and other late war monsters such as the Super Churchill. I know, you're going to tell me the Cruiser Centurion is better. You're right. So I gave the Brits a quantity of them as well. Hah!
My highest regards Mr. Walker,
Old Man Dan
