El Wak, Somaliland [Best played against human opponent] British carrying the fight wherever they can after the fall of France began an aggressive campaign against remote Italian fortifications in the remote Eastern African frontier. The South African Gold Coast Brigade was selected by Cunningham to lead the attack as combat experience was sorely lacking and this was thought to be an excellent trial. The South Africans had to negotiate miles of desert scrub before offloading and then hike in to launch the surprise attack on the Askari Garrison. These early skirmishes would be the spark that started the fire in the Cauldron of North Africa.
