On June 6, 1944, British I Corps, supported by the Airborne landing of 6th Airborne Divsion had orders to assail the beaches between Luc-Sur-Mer and Ouistreham. The 3rd "London" Infantry division with specialised engineering equipment and covered on the flanks by commando units had orders to break through the beach defences and go like hell for Caen, the day's objective. Meanwhile the 6th Airborne would secure the eastern flank and take care of the inland batteries. The germans acted very quick and sent all available reinforcements to the beaches. Best played as AXIS.

Totally unmanageable for the Allied player, unless he has lots of time. Once the Allied player is ashore, sheer numbers dominate. Might be god as a team game.
