Dover, 25km SE of Canterbury, England: [Hypothetical; Best played as Axis] Operation Sealion is about to begin! France and the Low Countries have fallen to Germany's seemingly invincible armies and now it is England's turn to face the full weight of the Wehrmacht! July 14th has been set for the invasion and once again the 7th Airborne Division, "Hitler's Eagles", will lead the way as it had in Belgium and Holland. One of the most critical areas for the success of the invasion lies between Dover and Folkestone, in southeast England. The mission of Colonel Brauer's 1st Parachute Regiment is to drop inland of the beaches with two battalions of infantry, cut Highway A-2 to Canterbury and prevent the coastal defenses from being reinforced. Meanwhile the 1st Battalion will land in gliders to seize the cliff-top bunkers and the Citadel's heavy shore batteries to clear the way for the 6th Mountain Division, scheduled to come ashore at dawn. To their dismay, as the first of Brauer's airborne troopers began to touch down on English soil, they discover their drop zones are near the outposts of the 1st London Rifle Brigade.
