Very fun scenario. The Axis player must be patient while he concentrates his piecemeal reinforcements for a major effort. All the while he must keep the Brits guessing as to where his main effort will be. Lots of options and surprises. A real gem.
Played with Extreme Assault turned OFF
This is von Niemack's mastperpiece. Very fun smaller scenario. Best played blind. Interesting force mix that accurately portrays the hodgepodge nature of the 21st Panzer Division in Normandy. Axis have an advantage in firepower, but it is not all available at once. Allies have some truly deadly air support available, and a lot of it. Allies also have an advantage in possessing good defensive terrain.
