Lydden, 15km SE of Canterbury, England: [Hypothetical; Best played as Allied] Operation Sealion is underway and the German invaders have sized Dover and Folkestone! While the air battle continues to rage overhead, Lieutenant General Thorne, commanding the British XII Corps, has ordered the 1st Armoured Division, which is still recovering from its near destruction in France, to counterattack and smash the Axis bridgehead. On the far right of the German lodgment, the 2nd Royal Tank Regiment and the 1st Northants Yeomanry Cavalry Regiment, are instructed to thrust along Highway A-2 and into Dover. Standing in the way of the vengeful British tankers are the remnants of the battered 141st/6 Mountain Regiment and a thin line of anti-tank guns, including a number of deadly 88mm guns. Additional support from the 18th Panzer Regiment at Hawkinge is also in the area, but every German officer in the bridgehead is yelling for help and it is impossible to say how many of the panzers have arrived. At least Colonel Markgraf's infantry will not have to face the British Lion alone. Design Note: Special thanks to Jason Petho for the use of his England maps.
