Accrington, 45km N of Manchester, England: [Hypothetical; Best played against Human opponent] Operation Sealion has been going surprisingly well for the German invaders and their advance has taken them through the heartland of England to their present position in the northwest of the country. The hilly terrain in this region is an obvious impediment to motorised forces and so the armored spearhead of the earlier campaigns has been replaced by German planners with a true cavalry unit - the 1st Cavalry Division. Requiring less than a panzer division in terms of supplies and support, this unit has achieved a rapid rate of advance and is now on the brink of crossing the East Lancashire Moors and seizing the vital industrial center of Blackburn. Strung across the moors and waiting for them is the recently reformed 48th Infantry Brigade. With its three battalions of reservists and strictly limited support, this unit can expect no reinforcements as the German deluge reaches its height.
