Von Sponeck lands - The Matrix Games version of West Front

The last airfield to be taken around The Hague was Ockenburg, just southwest of the town. Here a mix of paratrooper- and airlandingtroops arrived, accompanied with the commander of the 22nd Airlanding Division, general Graf Von Sponeck. A quick seizure of the airfield was accomplished and immediately attempts were made to get into The Hague, directly or through Loosduinen. Here the Dutch were also soon alerted and tried to contain their enemy. For Von Sponeck it was to become an adventure that was to last five days and take himn and his forces through the province to Rotterdam.
