Emmerich, Germany - 15 miles east of Nijmegen. [H2H] [FIC] Second Shock Army's spearheads are approaching the Rhine. The collapse of the East/West alliance that Germany hoped for has happened, only months too late to benefit the prostrate Germans. Disagreements over the post-war world quickly went from push to shove. The Second Shock Army tore through northern Germany on the way to Rhine, avoiding the transportation infrastructure disaster that is the Ruhr, in a bid to cut the western armies off from their most important source of supply: Antwerp. The end to their drive is in sight. The spearhead, reinforced elements of the 796th Guards Rifle Division can see the Dutch border in their field glasses (just west of Emmerich and west of Dann). They have fought more than a thousand miles, from Stalingrad to Berlin; what's another 50? Recognizing the deadly threat of Antwerp falling to the enemy, Eisenhower, Patton, and Montgomery throw the Polish 10th Cavalry and American 97th Armored into the fight in a desperate effort to stave off disaster. A very fun and challenging hypothetical between allies and reds! Great map and very cool force mix on both sides!

My rating says it all.
