Germans showed a lot of power in this game, it was amazing to me that the American tank units decimated them as they did.
XLVIII Pz. Korp
What a brawl! Great quick scenario, with many options for both sides.
Digger
Great quick armoured battle, plenty of tactical options

This is one of those kind of scenarios where the german *can* get away with adventurous, even reckless tactics, but when you take into account the terrific range of the german tanks, there's just no *need* for the german to get close. Pick an elevated, distant forest hex, and blast away, or, just find a forest hex in line-of-sight of the forward objectives. This applies more to the tigers, with the better range and slightly worse armor. But it applies to all german tanks, with the exception of the german Lynx light tanks.

In any case, I lost every single one of my 76mm shermans (that hurt), all 4 platoons of my basic M4 shermans (again, owie), all but 2 sp's of light tanks (just the one platoon left), yet my heavy armored jumbo's were completely untouched! I also lost a couple sp's of minelayer tanks and a platoon of 105mm howitzer (assault gun) shermans. Overall, I think that the german firepower available make a U.S. victory, especially a major one, extremely difficult, because the german can out shoot AND outrun the americans. But, a fun scenario nonetheless.

I won by not being aggressive; I let the german come to me. Then, concentrated on side and rear armor for max effect.
Thus, what is of supreme importance in war is to attack the enemy's strategy.

My favorite one yet. I'm new though.

Well balanced, small and short.
Resolve then, that on this very ground, with small flags waving and tinny blasts on tiny trumpets, we shall meet the enemy, and not only may he be ours, he may be us. --Walt Kelly

Victory is possible for both sides, but the Axis side has more margin for error due to superior tanks. Allied player must make Axis player fight on his terms.

A classic, still one of my favorites. Germans have the advantage by virtue of their better armor and firepower, but the Allies have enough to give them a fighting chance. Key units for the Allies: the "Jumbo" Sherman platoons, and the mortar halftracks. Allied player cannot win without using these units to maximum advantage.

Very fun but felt like the Allies needed just a little bit more
