[Company] 1, February, 1968.\Semi Historical.\Best Played as
PBEM.\Solo play, either side.\\Counter battery fire has been
a part of warfare since artillery engines were invented, and Vietnam
was no exception. The classic duel at Khe Sanh for example comes
to mind. The NVA seemed to be always moving their batteries just
out of reach of the US Forces.\This scenario lets you experience
some of the classic counter battery fire missions.\A hasty Forward
Fire Base has been set up by the Marines. Before the NVA can
shift their position, the batteries become engaged.\\Notes:There
are no objectives. The winner will be determined by most damage
points earned. Each side has the means for observing the effects
of the artillery duel. Target locations should be noted in case
the means of observing become eliminated. In this scenario the
engagement distances are much smaller than normal and this is
to accommodate the games editors and for playability.\Best played
with the X Mod, but fully compatible with the stock game.\Use
your keyboard arrow keys for fast scrolling of the map.\\Sources:US
