The scenario has a great concept, but a number of factors adversely affect game balance. All of the US forces are fixed at the start of the scenario with no release schedule. US forces only become unfixed when they are attacked by the enemy. This means that the US forces furthest away from the enemy will become unfixed much later in the game, if at all. The US forces have emplaced Claymore mines which they must remain within 1 hex of in order for the mines to be armed. Even with Fog of War enabled, the NVA forces can see the Claymore mines and can simply avoid them by maneuvering around them. Between the US forces being fixed in place and Claymore mines that are visible to the enemy, the US player is at a disadvantage throughout the game.

From a historical perspective I found the scenario interesting after reading about the battle at FSB Mary Ann. That being said the scenario is totally pro North Vietnam. The US troops will have a very hard time stopping the NVA sappers from infiltrating the base.
