Historical Overview: In the early morning hours of the 22nd of June 1941, German forces of Army Group South crossed the border and headed east.
Scenario Overview: This is a hypothetical scenario in which Army Group South will receive no help from Panzer Group 2 to capture Kiev. The Axis player must decide the best way to achieve his objectives east of the Dnepr river and allocate his mechanised units accordingly - spread them thin or concentrate? The Soviet player must salvage whatever mechanised units he can from the frontier battles, assign them to his best generals, and then use them to prevent the Axis capturing key objectives. The Dnepr river line must be held for as long as possible.
