Barrosa 5 March 1811 - 24 turn variant scenario starting at the point where the British are about to assault Barrosa hill. This scenario uses the alterative pdt and gun sections, and only Zayas' Spanish are fixed. Since Soult had recently depleted Victor's French force besieging Cádiz to around 15,000 men in order to attack Badajoz, an Anglo-Spanish expedition under the incompetent la Peña set sail with the intention of attacking Victor in the rear. The English contingent of c.4,000 men was led by Sir Thomas Graham, who found it very difficult to take orders from la Peña and abandon the key Barrosa hill. So, when the French seized this position, he decided to retake it, even if his Spanish allies failed to support him.
