Cogorderos 23rd June 1811 - Advancing from Leon to assist Serras against the Spanish leader Santocildes, Valletaux came across a Spanish force at Cogorderos. Despising the enemy's superior numbers, the French decided to attack. After several hours of fighting, the arrival of fresh Spanish reinforcements broke the French.
