Gebora 19 February 1811 - Taking advantage of a foggy morning, Soult launched a surprise dawn attack on the Spanish relief force encamped on the San Cristobal heights. While the French infantry forded the Gebora and advanced against the Spanish front, Latour Maubourg's dragoons managed to outflank the Spanish left flank without being detected. Despite possessing an infantry superiority of 2:1, the Spanish were caught by surprise and were quickly routed after their cavalry, along with Madden's Portuguese horse, fled abruptly before contact was even made. This allowed the French dragoons to attack the exposed flank and rear of the Spanish infantry. NB: Rout Limiting OFF and Cavalry Multiple Melee ON are essential rules for this scenario to be play-balanced for PBEM.
