Talavera 28th July 1809 - Variant scenario using the alternative pdt and gun sections. Despite the repulse of both the French night and dawn assaults against the Cerro de Medellin on the left flank of the Allied line, Victor remained eager to make a further attempt to defeat the enemy. This time he attacked both the British centre and right, whilst leaving just Milhaud's dragoons to observe the entire Spanish army - over 30,000 strong - deployed on the right of the British in a strong defensive position to protect Talavera.
