9 March 1814 - Variant - Intended for Head to Head play - What if after the Battle of Craonne the Russians under Sacken had moved west towards Soissons? Orders are issued to his command on the 8th to march from Soissons to the northeast and arrives at Laon in time for the afternoon fighting on the first day. Winzingerode will remain at Soissons to guard the city against any French force that could possibly intervene. Initially Yorck's 1st Prussian Corps (watching for a flank attack force) and Langeron's Russian Corps will be fixed. They will release during the battle.
