5 April 1813 - Historical - Intended to be played Head to Head - The action at Möckern (not to be confused with the battle of October) saw Eugene's Army of the Elbe attempting to maintain a presence on the left bank of the Elbe River to be in position to execute Napoleon's plan of advancing on Stettin and Danzig to relieve the besieged garrisons. The Allies under Wittgenstein advanced from Möckern on Eugene's army situated to the east of the Elbe and the Allied forces attacked the French outposts at Vehlitz and Dangkow. The French held firm for most of the afternoon but the numbers of Allies pressed them back on their main body. Darkness halted the action and Eugene, hearing a false rumor that Wittgenstein had crossed the Elbe around his flank caused him to withdraw back across the river to Magdeburg. While the Allies had taken more losses, Eugene's retreat gave them cause to celebrate a victory.

French forces remain fixed for about half the game. Prussians are able to storm the first set of objective hexes before the French can respond.
