19 May 1813 - Historical - Intended for Head to Head play - This is the second action of Barclay's attack on Napoleon's left flank. Yorck's corps formed the right wing of the Allied forces. Their attack started later due to the longer march route that they had to take. The Prussian advance route was to the northeast of Barclay's position at Königswartha and they missed the action against the French 15th Division. Nonetheless, the French V Corps was approaching and at 3PM Lauriston's advance guard was approaching the Prussian position near the Eichberg, a local hill feature near Weißig. The V Corps numbered overed 16,000 men against approximately 5,800 Prussians. First, the 16th Division under GB Maison made an enveloping attack against the Prussian Advance Guard under ObLt. Steinmetz. The Prussians stubbornly defended their position but were significantly outnumbered (approximately 8,000 French vs. about 1,300 Prussians) and pressed back on Weißig.
